一.热身活动

Free talk:

1.What were you doing at 9:00 last Sunday?并在大屏幕展示6幅提示图,老师问两三名学生,然后问What was he/ she doing? 转换到第三人称,老师指着大屏幕,让同桌两个人一问一答,进行四组。

2.教师:出示马航飞机,on March 8th, 2014, a plane disappeared. Do you remember? So what were you doing at that time? 找四五个学生起来回答。

二.导入

T: Thanks for all of your answers and in return I’d like to give some tickets of the Washington History Museum. Would you like to go visiting with me?

Ss: Yes.

T: OK, let’s go!

大屏幕展示马丁路德金和世贸大厦的图片,让学生说说自己对此的了解,找一个学生读一读背景知识。最后老师说,These were important events. So do people remember what they were doing when they heard the news of important events? Here’s more information in the passage.

三.阅读内容

1.       Fast reading

T: Read it quickly and answer the two questions. Before you do them, here is a reading strategy for you..大屏幕展示问题。

2.       Careful Reading

第一段,        回答问题:

第二段,        回答问题:

第三段,        回答问题:

第四段,        回答问题:

在出示问题的时候,先让学生读问题再翻译,在出示答案的时候,让学生找出在原文中的依据,并且解释重点单词和句型。

3.       Question Time

有问题解释,没有问题过。

4.       小组合作,在原文中找到对应英语。

老师重点解释49,再出示两个例句,帮助学生进一步理解,学会运用。

四、朗读

跟读录音机。

五、作业:

1.继续跟读录音

2.9句汉译英自默一遍,背下来。
